Illness hits UB40 Nam show
THE cancellation of the much awaited UB40 charity gig in Windhoek at the last minute yesterday has left fans heartbroken and children at the Hope Village more hopeless.
A painfully terse statement carried on UB40’s website yesterday said the Windhoek show would no longer go ahead on Saturday because one of the band members has been given ‘strict instructions by his doctor that he must have immediate and complete rest to enable him to be treated for a medical condition’.
“This is not a decision the band or their management has taken lightly and the decision was made as absolute last resort.

Rose 20 years old launched a store which sells cosmetics and pig fat in Birmingham after she found out the component used in conventional products.
She says, "Obviously, there are a lot of Muslims who will be interested, but I think the products will work for anyone who is concerned about what they're putting on their bodies. The halal certification gives you peace of mind"

UB40 final countdown to ticket sales
At the Independence Stadium in Olympia on 11 December 2011,world class music band UB40 music concert will be staging by Namibia.
All Namibians will going to be provide a brilliant performance and top music by UB40 along with local performers like Ludik, Penilane, Gal Level, Elemotho and the Upambians.
Tickets (starting at N$150) are still available at Maerua Mall, Wernhil, The Biltong Shop at Maerua Mall and Wernhil, Treasure Trove in Baines Centre, O’Portuga restaurant, Fresh ’n Wild, Madiba Spares in Khomasdal and Wika and Riverside Service Stations.
